Streaming TV and Radio Ads for Home Service Businesses
We write, produce and run your ads on streaming TV, streaming radio and social. Start in the area your trucks cover, then widen to your region or the whole country when you are ready.
Be the name they remember when something breaks
When the AC dies or a pipe bursts, homeowners call the company they already know, or they search and call whoever shows up first. Search ads for urgent repairs are expensive, and some lead services sell the same homeowner's request to more than one company.
Being the name people remember is what TV and radio have always done for the biggest local brands: the plumber with the jingle, the roofer on the morning drive. Streaming lets a smaller company do the same in its own service area with a daily budget and no station contract.
Start local, then go as wide as you want
Most home service companies should start where their trucks already go. Once the ads pay off, widen to your region or run nationwide, or run both at once: a local campaign around your shop and a wider one for reach. We work with businesses anywhere in the United States.
Stage 1
Local
Start where your trucks already go. Streaming TV can be targeted down to a single ZIP code, and social ads by ZIP code or a radius around your shop.
Stage 2
Regional
Add neighbouring metro areas or whole states as you open new locations or take on a bigger service area.
Stage 3
National
For franchises, multi-location brands and companies that sell nationwide: the whole country in one campaign.
Streaming TV. Hulu, Roku, YouTube TV, Prime Video and more.
Streaming radio. Spotify, Pandora and iHeart, heard in your market on the commute and through the workday.
Social. Meta, TikTok and YouTube, targeted by ZIP code or a radius around your shop.
Advertise before your busy season
Most home services are seasonal, and the best time to advertise is just before the rush, when people book maintenance and are still choosing who to call. ENERGY STAR makes the same point to homeowners: check cooling systems in spring and heating systems in fall, because contractors get busy once summer and winter arrive. Timing varies by region, so treat this as a starting point and we will plan around your area on the call.
HVAC, cooling
Busy season: Summer, peaking June to July. Hot southern states start earlier and stay busy longer.
Start advertising: March to May, with tune-up offers before the first heat wave.
HVAC, heating
Busy season: October to January, strongest in cold states.
Start advertising: September to October, with heating check-ups.
Plumbing
Busy season: Steady all year, plus burst-pipe emergencies in hard freezes, mostly December to February.
Start advertising: Year-round, with freeze-prevention ads in October and November and emergency ads when a hard freeze is forecast.
Roofing
Busy season: Summer, plus your local storm season: hail in late spring and early summer, hurricanes from June 1 to November 30.
Start advertising: Before your local storm season: around March in the southern Plains, April to May farther north, and spring on the Gulf and Atlantic coasts.
Pest control
Busy season: Late spring and summer. Termite swarms come mostly in spring, rodents in fall and winter.
Start advertising: A few weeks before your local termite swarm season (late winter in the Southeast), and September to October for rodents.
Electrical
Busy season: Fairly steady, slightly higher from summer into early fall, with generator demand around storm season.
Start advertising: Year-round, with generator ads ahead of storm season.
Lawn care and landscaping
Busy season: Spring, peaking in April, earlier and longer in the South, with a second window in late summer and fall for northern lawns.
Start advertising: February to March for spring sign-ups, and August for fall seeding and aeration.
House cleaning
Busy season: Fairly steady, with spring cleaning in March and move-outs in early summer.
Start advertising: February to March for spring cleaning, and May for move-outs.
Pool service
Busy season: May to July. In Florida, Arizona and other warm-winter areas it runs year-round, with a summer high.
Start advertising: March to April for openings, and August for closings where pools close for winter.

What we make for your business
Homeowners want to know three things: that you do the job they need, that you will actually show up, and that they can trust you in their home. Every ad is built around those.
- Streaming TV spots, 15 and 30 seconds, made for the big screen.
- Streaming radio spots, 30 seconds, written for the ear rather than adapted from the video.
- Vertical versions for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
- No filming day. Ads can use an AI presenter who speaks as your company's spokesperson, so nobody on your team has to be on camera.
The message changes with the trade
HVAC
Tune-up offers before the season turns, then "we answer when it breaks" once the heat or the cold arrives.
Plumbing
Speed and trust: someone answers now and shows up when they say, with upfront pricing if you offer it.
Roofing
Inspections after storms and a clear, honest process, without promises the law does not allow.
Pest control
Protection plans sold before the bugs arrive, not after the homeowner has already found them.
Electrical
Safety and licensing first, with the jobs homeowners ask for now: panel upgrades, EV chargers and generators.
Lawn care, cleaning and other recurring services
Recurring plans, sold on the time and hassle they save.
What we check in every script
Home service advertising has more rules than most owners expect, and they change from state to state. Every script is checked for the points below, for each state it will run in, before you see it.
- Your contractor license number, in the form each state allows. California, Florida, Arizona, Nevada and Texas (for HVAC, plumbing and electrical work) are among the states that require it in advertising.
- The federal credit disclosures whenever an ad mentions a monthly payment, a rate or "no interest", even when a third-party lender provides the financing.
- No offer to pay, waive or rebate an insurance deductible, or to handle the homeowner's insurance claim. Several states prohibit it, including Texas for every trade and Colorado, Minnesota and Oklahoma for roofers.
- No made-up testimonials, which the FTC prohibits. The presenter speaks for your company and never poses as a customer.
- Any conditions on a free estimate or inspection stated right next to the offer, not in fine print.
- No promise of a federal energy tax credit: the home energy credits ended for work completed after December 31, 2025.
- The AI disclosure New York requires when a video ad with an AI presenter runs there.
This is not legal advice. You approve every ad before it runs, so have your attorney check any claim you are unsure about.
What it costs
Campaigns can start from $50 a day in ad spend. Producing the ads is not included in that figure. Production and management are priced separately, scoped on a call and agreed with you before anything starts, because a local test in one service area and a regional TV, radio and social campaign are very different jobs. You will know the full number, and approve it, before we run anything.
Bring your website to the call and we will make a finished sample ad for your business at no cost.
How it works
Step 1
A call
We learn your services, where your trucks go, when your busy season is, and your budget.
Step 2
Scripts you approve
We write the scripts, check them for the state and federal rules listed on this page, and you approve or edit them before anything is produced.
Step 3
Production and launch
We produce the TV, radio and social versions and launch them in your service area. Campaigns typically go live two to four weeks after the first call, depending mostly on how quickly scripts are approved.
Step 4
Reporting
Every campaign comes back with a report showing where your ad ran and what it did.
Questions home service owners ask
- How much does it cost to advertise a home service business on streaming TV?
- Campaigns can start from $50 a day in ad spend. Producing the ads is not included in that figure: production and management are priced separately, scoped on a call and agreed with you before anything starts. There is no station contract and no need to buy a whole metro area.
- Can we advertise only in our service area?
- Yes. Streaming TV can be targeted down to a single ZIP code, and social ads by ZIP code or a radius around your shop. Streaming radio is heard across your wider market. When you are ready, you can widen to your region or run nationwide, or run a local and a wider campaign at the same time.
- When should we advertise?
- Before your busy season, not only during it. The weeks before the rush are when people book maintenance and remember a name, so when the rush comes they already know who to call. We plan the budget around your season on the first call.
- Does anyone on our team have to be on camera?
- No. Ads can use an AI presenter who speaks as your company's spokesperson, so there is no shoot to schedule. The presenter never poses as a customer.
- Can the ads mention financing or free estimates?
- Yes, with the right wording. If an ad mentions a monthly payment, a rate or "no interest", federal rules require extra credit disclosures, and we include them. Any conditions on a free estimate go right next to the offer.
- We already get leads from search ads and lead services. Why add TV and radio?
- Search and lead services catch people who are already looking, and you compete with everyone else who shows up. TV and radio reach homeowners before they need you, so when something breaks, your name is the one they remember and call directly.
- Do you work with home service businesses anywhere in the US?
- Yes. We work with businesses anywhere in the United States. Before you see a script, we check it in every state it will run in for the rules that most often catch out home service ads, such as license numbers, financing disclosures and insurance-deductible offers. You approve every ad, so have your attorney check anything you are unsure about.
